Ian Nash


Ian is a journalist and former advertising copywriter with more than 30 years’ editorial experience. He writes extensively on further education and work-based training and provides media support services for national and regional education organisations.

He created TES/FE Focus – the first national newspaper to produce a publication for the FE sector – which he edited for 12 years. He is also responsible for more than 30 sponsored magazines on further and adult education, business-education links, 14-19 education and IT in colleges.

Ian stepped down as Associate FE Editor in January 2008 to devote more time to the Nash & Jones Partnership. He is also a member of the Policy Consortium, an advice, research & development support network. Other publications include Overcoming Social Exclusion Through Adult Learning, which he wrote when seconded from the TES to the OECD. Ian is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
